Children's Ministries

The theme for children's church is "The Army of the Lord."

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (KJV)

The early years of training in the life of a child are very important. We desire for the children to
come into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. The children will then be able to walk
with Him all the days of their life relying upon Him to lead, guide and direct their steps in all that
they do. We desire that the children find the plan that God has for their life. One is never too
young to have a real encounter with Jesus Christ, be filled with the Holy Spirit and be used of
God.

Jeremiah was but a child when God called him to be a prophet to the nations.

Jeremiah 1:4-8
Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;
and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet
unto the nations. Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the Lord
said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I
command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee,
saith the Lord. (KJV)

In a study of church history and of past revivals, we find that God used youngsters many times in
a mighty way. God is still in the business of calling children, just as he called Samuel while he
was yet a young boy.

Mark 10:13-16
And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked
those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them,
Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not
enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.
